Dick Petersen first started guiding in the Horsfeld area in 1973 and has since guided continuosly statewide for all species of Alaskan big game. Check out the "Who are we?" page for more info.
Striker Overly , a
third generation Alaskan registered guide,

Striker and his family have been residents
of the Nutzotin Mountains near Horsfeld
since the 1960's. Growing up on horseback
and snowmachine with backpack and rifle
in hand, Striker has lived the dream
of many an outdoorsman. Hunting, trapping,
building cabins, caring for stock and
livin' his life in the hills, Striker
is a cross somewhere between Jeremiah
Johnson and James Dean... we're almost
afraid to let the ladies client out with
him! Striker's inherent knowledge of
the outdoors, easy going nature, competence
in all aspects of guiding and stellar
sense of humor make him a client's best
resource for a successful hunt with Wrangell
Outfitters.
Mike Van Bibber ,
a thirty year Alaskan and guide has made
a lifestyle out of guiding, bush living
and living his dream as an Alaskan outdoorsman.
From his ranch near Cantwell, he runs
his own packing and hunting business,
Windy Pass Mule Barn, and raised his
three self-sufficient sons Mica, Lucas,
and Hawkin. V.B. has guided hunts in
Alaska from the Brooks Range to the Aleutian
Islands for all Alaskan big game species
as well as mule deer, moose and elk hunts
in Idaho and Wyoming. A wealth of knowledge
on "Alaskana" and
local characters, an unassuming natural
